Quintette Aquilon

In September 2006 the Quintette Aquilon won the first prize at the renowned International Music Competition by the ARD in Munich. It was the first French wind quintet to do so.
In 2008 the quintet was selected by ECHO(European Concert Hall Organisation) and by Cité de la Musique de Paris for their concert series Rising Stars" and in this context performed at Europe's most renowned concert halls: Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Town Hall in Birmingham, Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels, Philharmonie in Cologne, Konzerthaus in Vienna, Philharmonie in Luxemburg and the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. Since the end of 2008 the Quintette Aquilon is offered an in-residence by the Foundation
Singer-Polignac in Paris.
